Traverser les mondes / Crossing (inner) worlds bears witness to Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté's many travels and their ongoing search for languages that metaphorise our relationship with others and with history.

The texts, written alternately by one and then the other, originate from a travel anecdote or a particular relationship with a place, people or an event. They then open up a reflection on the nature and meaning of creation, the notion of presence for the performer, the idea of a theatre of figures and the weight of death on stage, the work on images, the link between theatre and dance, transmission, the creation of a language as a condition for sensitive sharing, friction with other cultures and the diversity of audiences and the reception of performances.

But perhaps, in the end, it is simply a journey through inner worlds where spectators and creators come together in an imaginary journey  and the enigma of presence?
