Migrations

Tracking the pathways of migratory birds, seven skaters trace on the ice the map of our displacement, our upheavals, our internal exile. They surge forward in unison, undertaking an icy voyage that is also one of migrants, ”people on the move,” these eternal wanderers of History.

Initially, they form a clan, motivated by the same desire to cross the white expanse, beyond which lies, perhaps, a country where they can rebuild their life. But little by litttle the group tears itself apart in the twists and turns of a journey filled with obstacles, detours, improbable encounters...
